Biarmie Spirit
The Biarmie Spirit is like a God in Aboriginal Culture, found in many parts of Australia.
This inspired the design of the Biarnie Spirit, who is a very powerful spirit. With his outstretched arms He protects and defends his two wives, who are ususally found sitting by his side.

Meeting Grounds
This design is about the Aboriginal women coming down from the hills & valleys to celebrate and harvest seasonal foods.
The larger sites are the women sitting together around the campfire having a good yarn up, while the smaller sites are the children learning from the older women.

Spirit Sites
The lighting spirits in Aboriginal culture were two brothers Djum Djuk Buloo & Djabaringi.
This inspired the design of the lightning spirits. Djum Djuk Buloo & Djabaringi travelled around on the clouds and when they argued and fought battles with their shields and clubs, this created the lightning and thunder.

Corroboree Frogs
The small native Corroboree Frog found only in small pockets in the Sydney Region is close to extinction...
This inspired this design, because though they are at the bottom of the food chain, Aboriginal people believe they must be protected, as belief is once they are gone so are we.

Goannas
The Goanna Lizard is a very common reptile in Australia; with a number of species spread throughout the country.
This inspired the design, because different Aboriginal tribes used the Goanna as their Totem line (a special spiritual relationship with their country, that goes back to their first Ancestral being).
Goannas were also an important part of Aboriginal bush tucker & bush medicine.
